Dale Carnegie Training
PHILOSOPHY

Dale Carnegie Training®, a pioneer in business education, has more than 2,700 trainers in more than 80 countries, and an estimated 4.7 million graduates. The company, based in Garden City, N.Y., offers courses covering a range of topics, including leadership training, professional development and presentation and teamwork skills. The programs emphasize a practical approach for business success, focusing on the challenges people and organizations face every day as they implement current business goals and long-range vision.

Dale Carnegie Training uses a four-phase training cycle: attitude change, knowledge, practice and skill development. The idea is to develop the skills needed to build both internal and external relationships — transforming customers into business partners.

The courses are based on the work of the late Dale Carnegie, author of How to Win Friends and Influence People, which has sold more than 10 million copies. Carnegie founded the company in 1912. Since then, the company has trained staff in more than 400 of the Fortune 500 companies. Life magazine has recognized Dale Carnegie as one of the 100 most influential people in shaping the American culture.

Dale Carnegie Training® has formed partnerships with Symantec Corp., Microsoft Corp., and the Drucker Foundation, a nonprofit management group.
