> Dale Carnegie: Biography | | |
Dale Carnegie Training® courses are based on the work of the late Dale Carnegie (1888-1955). Carnegie taught his first public speaking class in 1912 to a handful of adults in an upper Manhattan YMCA. Convinced that it is never too late for people to realize their full potential, Carnegie set the stage for a revolution in adult education.
Carnegie soon formalized his course, added instructors and launched his prolific career as writer, broadcaster and business executive.
The courses improve business performance by developing the innate abilities of employees — a mission supported by the belief that people are the most powerful source of competitive advantage.
The core principle of Dale Carnegie Training is the same as it was in Carnegie's day: Maximizing human potential remains the key to successful business performance.
