Myprimetime.com, Leading Baby Boomer Web Site, Names Samir Elias as Director of Internet Technologies

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 24, 2000 - MyPrimeTime, Inc., an integrated media company,
today announced today it has named Samir Elias, 43, to the position of Director of Internet Technologies, where he will have primary responsibility for developing and implementing myprimetime.com's contextual e-commerce infrastructure and strategy.

"Samir may not have invented e-commerce, but his innovations have been instrumental in making e-commerce as we know it today a reality," said myprimetime.com Co-Founder and CEO Craig Forman. "The proprietary technology that Samir is developing for myprimetime.com will vault us ahead of the pack as e-commerce evolves into its next phase."

Elias, who holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University, has extensive experience in developing innovative business applications for the Internet. He brings years of knowledge of portal e-commerce - bringing consumers to merchants - to myprimetime.com.

As a principal at C2B (Consumers to Business) Technologies, he developed one of the industry's first Comparison Shopping engines, which today powers shopping sites such as shop.go.com, the CNNfn Power Shopper, and many more.

In September 1998, Inktomi Corporation acquired C2B for their shopping engine technology, establishing Inktomi as the leader in OEM shopping solutions for portals. Elias then became a manager with Inktomi responsible for content acquisition from third party suppliers including Consumer's Digest and PCOrder.

As a principal at Extensity, which develops Internet applications that transform the way businesses do their everyday work, Elias designed and built distributed multithreaded object-oriented Internet applications in Java and C++ integrating with relational databases, document processing systems, and warehouse automation systems

Previously, Elias worked for TRW financial Systems, where he developed leading edge business applications and Internet technologies in areas including e-commerce, spider and net-robot technology, dynamic content, JDBC and RMI.
